Mrs. Orrico

My name is Mrs. Orrico and I am your student's 5th grade teacher! This is my fourth year at Maltby teaching 5th grade and my eighth year of teaching in general. I am excited about this school year and I am ready for these 5th Graders to arrive!

Academic Background
I graduated Walled Lake Central High School in 2012 and attended Michigan State University to start my journey of becoming a teacher. In 2016, I graduated from MSU with a Bachelors in Elementary Education with a specialization in Mathematics. Then, four years later, I went back to MSU to earn my Master of Arts in Teaching and Curriculum with a concentration in Educational Technology and Science and Mathematics Education.

What does Mrs. Orrico like to do for fun?

I love spending time with my family and friends, especially my cute nieces, Olivia and Mila, and nephew, Brody. I also enjoy working out and buying fun items at Target. I spent my summer traveling to the east coast and west coast. I have two dogs, Kooga and Ava who I love to cuddle with! During the Fall, I love spending my weekends watching and rooting on my Michigan State Spartans! #GoGreen
