First Week of School for 2023

Hello Parents,

I hope everyone had a relaxing break! This week we jump right back into Math. We only have a few more lessons. Then we will test for the remainder part of Unit 3. In ELA, we focused on getting back on track with AR books and a reading routine. Please ensure your student reads at home and tracks it in their Reading Log. 

Also, I will be providing the students with a pizza lunch since we won the Canned Food Drive. This lunch will be on Friday, January 13th. Students will get two pieces of pizza and a drink. Thank you again to all the families who donated items or money to the Canned Food Drive!

Here is some information for next week:

No School on Monday, January 16th, and Monday, January 30th.

Planners: Please sign the planner for every day!
Math: We are adding fractions with unlike and like denominators. 
Reading/Writing: Students should work on returning to a reading routine. Students have reading goals for AR points, so please ensure your student is reading at home.
Science: We have begun Cycle 2 of Go With The Flow. All science grades are in Parent Connect. 
Social Studies: Look on Mrs. Krayer’s Google Classroom for social studies for all assignments.

Homework: Reading for 20 minutes and writing it in the reading log.
