Hello Parents,
The 2nd Trimester is officially over! Remember, there is no school on Monday, so we will enter the 3rd Trimester on Tuesday! I can’t believe we have three and a half months of school left and nine days away from Spring Break! This week we had NWEA testing. Students did a great job trying their personal best and being quiet while others finished. NWEA MATH Testing is next week! Students will be taking the Math NWEA on Wednesday, March 15th. If your student is absent, please email me so I can arrange for your student to take the test at a different time and date. On testing days, ensure students get enough sleep and have a morning breakfast. This routine will help your student to be successful! If you like some practice tests, check out prepdog.com. They can take the practice tests for Math for 5th grade. Also, students need to remember to bring their planners to school. I see a lot of students without it. Students need to get it signed by a parent every day. Please remember that students need to be responsible and show you their planners every day! It might be a good idea to come up with a system for when they can show you their planner for you to sign it. Here is some information for next week: NWEA Testing Dates:
