Hello Parents,
Goodbye April, Hello May. I can’t believe we are in the final push of the school year. The students are working hard and also having some fun as well!
On Monday and Tuesday, we have our last MSTEP test, Math. If students would like to prepare, they can take practice tests at http://www.prepdog.org/5th-grade.htm Also, there are some math Google Slides on Google Practice that we started in class today if the students want to do additional practice.
Spring is here, and students’ energy levels are high. Please make sure you review the school's rules and your expectations for them to finish the school year strong. Also, with Spring comes warmer weather. Please make sure students are dressed appropriately for school. Planners: Please sign the planner for every day!
Math: We are finishing up Unit 6 and the test sometime after MSTEP Testing.
Reading/Writing: We started our Argumentative Writing Unit. Please keep working on reading for AR points and comprehension.
Science: We are starting on Changes Cycle 2 Unit. All assignments will be on Google Classroom.  
Social Studies: Look on Mrs. Krayer’s Google Classroom for social studies for all assignments.

Homework:  Get their book club contract signed. If students would like to prepare, they can take practice tests at http://www.prepdog.org/5th-grade.htm, then Read for 20 minutes, and log it in the Reading Log
